What are the candles made from?
The Salcombe Candle Company's candles are made from soy wax and use cotton wicks along with the highest quality fragrances all sourced within the UK.
Why is my candle tunnelling?
Candle burning can be a bit of an art and the slightest factor can alter the burn. One of the most important factors is if you haven't burnt your candle long enough on each burn (especially the first) this will cause tunnelling. We advise you burn our candles for at least 3-4 hours each burn to make sure the melt pool is even across the whole of the candle surface right up to the vessel edge.
If you do not do this 9 times out of 10 your candle with tunnel all the way down.
How long should I burn my candle for?
We recommend letting our candles burn for 3-4 hours at a time. This will create an even wax pool to get the most burn time out of your candle.
Why is my candle sweating?
With our candles being made from soy wax they are a natural product which means with temperature change it can cause them to sweat just like you an I. This is nothing to worry about and is normal and doesn't effect the burn of the candle.
Do you offer different scents?
If you are interested in a scent we do not currently stock, please email info@salcombecandlecompany.co.uk with which scent & sizes you are interested in. We will happily look into a custom order for you.

Can I get my product personalised?
We have currently suspended our personalised service, we aim to bring this back in the New Year.
Shipping
Do you ship overseas?
Currently we do not offer delivery outside of the United Kingdom. However this is something we are looking at making available soon.
How long will it take to get my order?
It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
What shipping carriers do you use?
We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.
Returns
Can I return my product?
We always aim for make sure our customers love our products, but if you do need to return an order, we’re happy to help. Just email us directly and we’ll take you through the process.
